Todd McMullen is a Cinematographer who started his career in Hollywood working as a camera assistant on films including Casino, The Green Mile and Nurse Betty. As a Cinematographer, he has applied his distinctive look to acclaimed TV projects such as Friday Night Lights, HBO’s The Newsroom and The Leftovers, as well as establishing the looks for Prime Suspect, Quantico, Santa Clarita Diet and 12 Monkeys .

His first feature film as Cinematographer, Walking Out, was selected in the main Narrative Competition at Sundance 2017 and was also selected as Debut Feature for Cinematography at Camerimage in Poland. 

Apple TV’s Palm Royale was nominated for 11 Emmys’s in 2024. Todd served as Cinematographer on 8 Episodes.

Up next Todd continues his collaboration with Apple TV and the upcoming series “Firebug”. Starring Taron Egerton and Jurnee Smollett.

Todd and his family divide time between the hill country outside of Austin, Texas and on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. He is a member of the DGA and the Cinematographers Guild and is represented by William Morris Endeavor.
